Hmmm, reconciliation is the “wrong place for policy changes” and “does not permit” debate. We agree. How about you?
I am deeply opposed to using reconcilliation to ram through the health care bill whether the US citizens want it or not. But what the heck….our President doesn’t care about the US citizens anyway so why even talk about the subject. He and Pelosi won’t be satisfied until they ram it through and leave us with the consequences of this reckless act. I am looking forward to the 20l0 elections but guess what…..the damage will be done already.

This is more than Health Care Reform. We are now confronted with two paths; one to socialism and Big Government and two the path that continues the Free Market and Smaller out of my life Government. Obama Care as it is now presented is as socialistic as it gets. Not only will it control our Health Care System it will control You and I. Whatever effects your health or the cost of Health Care can and will be controlled. Extreme sports, fast food, guns, smoking, travel, jobs, where you live, children and abortion, and the right to die just to name a few areas of control. Anything you can think of doing, being or how you live can under the Health Care Czar be controlled for your own good. Big Brother at it’s finest. Under the Free Market how to influence it without the Take Over. Just like we do with any other industry with laws and regulations. We don’t need to control the train running down the track we only need to make sure that the rules and safety standards are in place. Don’t be fooled Obama Care if passed will only be the beginning of the Socialist Republic of the United States. And the story of the Last Best Chance for Freedom in the World will be gone.
A lot of people were ready for a black president but NOT for a socialist president. Barack Obama was elected by our drive by media way before anybody knew who he was.
Sarah Palin was not the only one that saw this socialist coming. Some of us did but, the American people do not have the experience in perceiving socialist leaders. Obama hid his agenda by running as a centrist.
People in this country need to learn to go to other sources in the internet for the news rather than depend on their local newspapers and the three biased networks.
Many internet sites ran articles about Obama and conservative talk show hosts played tapes about Obama’s associations. Obama also had two years only of senate experience. His voting record was dismal. He voted (when he voted) all the way to the far left. He has no experience in running a business. His only experience is as an activist/organizer. People said Kennedy was too inexperienced to be president and he had been in the senate around 8 years.
I hope people will learn from this experience the importance of being well informed and how devastating it can be to have a lying no good bum for a president of this great country.

Reconciliation has been used in the past it was utilized on bills designed to bring down the deficit.
Obama twists everything to meet his agenda. Any means justifies the end. He has mistaken the presidents role for that of a monarch. Therefore, rules, laws, and the constitution are not applicable to him. This congress and Obama will use this process to pass Obama care and, in essence, tell Americans to bend over and hold their ankles.
This is not about health care reform it is about CONTROL.
There is a very sick pattern emerging. Obama is doing nothing to truly help create jobs. More Americans are dependent on the government due to joblessness. If the gov. controls the funds that allow individuals to take care of his/her family and/or themselves. Then they control the individuals.
As for TANF Obama recently wiped out the rules pertaining to the program. We will move backwards to generational welfare families, again.
I wish people would quit referring to him as president he isn’t worthy of the title much less the job. His goal is to RUIN this country!

Americans need to be skeptical when the Obama team tries to push through this health care bill. We have to ask ourselves, why are they so intent on passing a bill that the majority of Americans do not want? Since they are willing to do anything like reconcilation or buying votes (bribery), I think that they have a whole different agenda. I think that their primary goal is to control the U.S.A. and take away the rights and freedoms of American citizens. I hope that I am wrong but this is my suspicion regarding the Obama administration.
Mr. Obama was the keynote speaker for John Kerry who was given the name FLIP FLOP for his changing votes and statements. As a protege of Kerry Obama is following in his footsteps to a much greater degree and now totally deserves the FLIP FLOP title.

Ppublic financing for the general presidential election (yes then no),
Transparency (not yet-lots of closed door deals),
Bipartisan legislation (not even close),
No increase in taxes (higher taxes on the way),
No mandatory requirement to purchase health insurance-now it will be required (remember he criticized Hillary when she suggested this),
If you like your current health insurance you don’t have to change (mandatory change coming soon).

Even though taxes for this health program will begin now for those in America who still have a job the benefits will not begin for three to five years. Hello ! What will the down-trodden with no benefits do then? Just as in the job sector they will see no immediate remedy for the ill and afflicted. It isn’t about healthcare. California went broke over illegals over running their hospitals. California couldn’t afford the bill. Now Pelosi wants us all to pay for California. Remember the next agenda is to make illegals citizens so they can vote and have us pay healthcare for them. Insurance companies need taken to task. My insurance changed so everything has a co-pay. I pay a reasonable payment but nothing is covered. Where is all the money going? My neighbor had her premiums upped by her salar level. No added benefits. Who came up with this $5000 plus $1500 in co-pay before anything is covered? And if the government was so good at managing Medicare and Medicaid, why do we need any more government? If we had to listen to Clinton’s love affair impeachment, why not impeachment for someone (s) destroying the US?
