Truth Telling with Nancy
In her remarks before the 2010 Legislative Conference for the National Association of Counties, Speaker Pelosi appears to have finally stumbled across the truth…..Again, we would so love to editorialize on this one but the verbatim is just too good.
Here is what Speaker Pelosi had to say about the health care reform bill (pay attention to the bolded part):
“You’ve heard about the controversies within the bill, the process about the bill, one or the other. But I don’t know if you have heard that it is legislation for the future, not just about health care for America, but about a healthier America, where preventive care is not something that you have to pay a deductible for or out of pocket. Prevention, prevention, prevention—it’s about diet, not diabetes. It’s going to be very, very exciting. But we have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it, away from the fog of the controversy.”
Um, did Nancy just admit that she doesn’t know what is in the bill or that she could prove opposition wrong after winning???? Surely she will backtrack later and qualify this statement. However, perhaps this Freudian slip is exactly what it is: an unconscious (’dynamically repressed’) slip-up or, as we like to call it, the truth.
Before Washington Democrats move to push through their reform plan without the support of the American public or 51 (if not more) of their elected colleagues in the Senate let alone the House, they should at least be able to tell us exactly what their so-called reform will bring us.
Or maybe we should do as the Speaker suggests and just step aside and hope she is right. Hmmm, that seems unlikely and not how good public policy is made.
Nancy is a despicible person.When her party (whom the president has all but destroyed) realized that the American people were on to their back room deals and Chicago mob tactics they started name calling . When that didn’t work and the Tea Party movement got even stronger she started accusing us of being racist, Nazis and fake.
The president ,Pelosi Reid and Hoyer will stoop to all-time lows to have their agenda pass. They will continue to ignore the american people till November when we throw them all out.
Let’s prevent murder by not allowing for abortion or alloting the elderly their proper care.

To be honest with you, I really don’t think Nancy Pelosi knew she was telling the truth with that statement LOL! You are right about one thing, they all will ignore the American people till November when we throw them all out! Amen to that!
This bill will bankrupt us and she doesn’t get it at all. We have to cut Medicare spending to save Medicare. How can the dems say that Medicare cuts are going to pay for this?? What will they cut or who will they tax to save Medicare if they claim Medicare savings as a way to fund this?? Do they really think we are that dumb? Also every time the governement has reduced payments to providers it has triggered higher private insurnace premiums. Why is this going to be different? How can President Obama take himself seriously??
I’m just an aveage citizen who fears for the country that my darling grandchildren will live in when they are my age. For the past year I’ve immersed myself in reading the writings and speeches of our founders as well as the works of men in their time who influenced them and thought I should run for representative to try and help turn this country back to its constitutional roots, but felt that I’m just a nobody without the necessary experience. Yet after reading this jibberish from not just a representative, but the speaker of the House of all the representatives, maybe I would have what it takes!! May God have mercy on our poor republic while it still has a chance of recovery!
I think the same about her as I have for decades. She doesn’t care what’s right or wrong or good or bad. It doesn’t matter what the people want or say. She just wants to win. And she’ll keep pushing until everyone is tired of fighting just to get the win.
In the end Mrs. P. I hope throwing your country under the bus to get all your wins was worth it!

I think that a program of this magnitude requires MUCH thought and conversation. It is certainly more important to spend time considering all options instead of passing it quickly and later finding all the problems. I spend more time deciding what kind of furniture to buy than they have done in Congress about the health care, which will be very expensive (and there is no guarantee that it will be better). I do firmly believe that the government workers all ought to be included in this health care, as well as being on Social Security, not a guaranteed retirement income.
This is such insanity, that if it were not so scary, it would be comical! The Dems and White House do not know the truth..This Healthcare bill is not about healthcare, it’s about power. And, they want more and more big government.
They want to destroy America and they are on their way toward that end.
We should not delude ourselves that any of these people have the best interests of the American people at heart. It’s all about controlling every facet of our life. First it’s health care, and then comes the ID card for employment and after that, who knows what!
Nancy Pelosi would not recognize the truth if it jumped up and slapped her in the face.
I’m glad we are paying attention now to all these people and their quest to take over our lives because if you listen closely, you’ll learn that they are smarter than we are and they know better how to manage our money that we do. They’ve done so well with Social Security, Medicare, etc., that they are all broke.
I thought it a bit odd that the Speaker thinks we need to wait until AFTER the bill is passed to learn what it contains. That’s been the goal all along. Pass it. Then let the people find out how we’ve all been screwed.
Bottom line…..this whole bill IS NOT about healthcare….but about complete government takeover of American freedoms…it’s called socialism/marxism. It violates Article I, sec 8 of U.S. Constitution…..ie: congress (nor the government )CANNOT mandate we purchase anything from the government…..much less assess fines/taxes & all this other crap!! As for Pelosi’s comments….anything she says I try not to hear….she is evil (as is most of congress). Send $$$ support to whoever is running against her in SFO..(John Dennis?). America did it for Scott Brown….we can do it again. Need to get rid of these scum bags. .

The President at one point before he succumbed to the Flip Flopping syndrome stated that bills would be posted on line for three days before being voted on. If March 18th is a magic date then whatever evolves should be posted by March 15th, next Monday.
That should be enough time for Nancy (and everyone else) to read and understand the bill and answer questions from not only the people in the House, but also the proletariat (remember us, we the people who pay taxes, and pay her salary).
The first time I saw Nancy Pelosi, she was hunched over a crystal ball, and her flying Monkeys were off on a mission. I think even at that time she was known as the “Wicked Bitch of the West”!

We should demand that everyone who is elected into Congress should have to take the n-400 test for Naturization and must swear they have read the Constitution, and that they will not be a party to unread bills!

I would like to see where in The Constitution you get the authority to have the federal government establish a health care plan for ALL Americans. Neither you, or anyone in Congress, or President Obama, can tell us what is expected to be voted on. It is all for your glory, your mis-guided ego, and all of your plans to change America to a socialized state. Seeing all of you voted out of office will surely bring a resounding cheer.

Medicare has billions of unfunded liability. But, Obama, Pelosi and Reid and other Democrats want to strip out $500 billion from it. They say they will reduce fraud………why have they not already reduced it? Any senior citizen that votes for Obama or any Democrat that votes for this program is crazy. Quite frankly the country cannot afford Obamacare. Is health care reform needed?
Yes!. But, only if there is a cost savings. The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) is forecasting a very large deficit from this bill.
It is so hard for me to believe any one with any education at all could possibly support this plan. I wonder how much is in this for obama-nancy-harry. I think some where down the line there is a payoff for them and they just don’t care about any thing else. Of course obama wants it to be his legacy. He is so arrogant it just makes me sick to have to see him on tv. Everyone needs to look at Raymond Graham (here). This information is also on Youtube. The new plan is to combine the House and Senate so there appears only one bill, escaping the vote (Politico). Me thinks they are pushing way too hard on this. Maybe there is another link to China, you know, the Cash to Clunkers that was a China initiative? I’m over 60 and I’ve never seen anything like what is going on with the WH today. We’re all waiting for November, like good little citizens. November will be too late.
Bill shipley. Think the dipping into SSA is bad (medicare)? They are now going back years and years to find any kind of debt SSA recips had –to collect the debt and add interest and penalties. They will now access SSA benefits and take back these funds. This was passed in 2008.
I live in a small rural town, where there is only one doctor who will take Medicaid patients. What is going to happen when they cut Medicare and all theses elderly people won’t have health care? Has Mr. Obama thought about that or does he even care? Our emergency rooms will be full of the elderly, just as they are with Medicaid patients!!

Nancy Pelosi has no idea why the Americanpublic has become anti-government. She lives in a dream world coveted by an unlimited expense account for her and her family. The truth finally slipped out of her mouth today: that is the health-care reform bill is a big Obama, Reid, Pelosi secret that they want to hide from us until its passed. They feel the American public is stupid and can’t be trusted. They are wrong. We pay their salaries and expense account bills which near billions of dollars a year and full of waste. They refuse to believe us and will pay for it in November.
According to Senator Feinsteins’ aide “the Senator doesn’t have time to read the bills.” My response, then who reads them? The aide “reads the bills and highlights that which is important.”
Next call was to Boxer, according to her aide Boxer does the same thing. and her aide informed me that “this is the procedure, none of the senators have time to read the bills, they are very busy.”
I went down the line and called every Senator. It took over a week to complete all the calls. When I asked their aides if they read the bills and highlight what they felt was important for the senator, the answer was unfailingly “yes.” So there you have it folks, ALL of the senators vote on bills they did not read. They are passing legislation for OUR country without knowing what the bill entails.
Why would the health care reform bill be any different? This is how our VERY well paid representatives do their job. Oh, wait they no longer call themselves representative, they call themselves leaders, likening us to sheep.
So, the most accountable, least corrupt Administration (talk about an oxymoron!) wants to exempt themselves from this horrid plan? Who do they think they are fooling? The American people are waking up to the lies from both sides of the aisle. IF they were true public servants they would be more than willing to go along with Tom Coburn’s plan to require Congress to receive the same detestable care we will be expected to accept. But no…they will be treated like kings and queens instead..
Unbelievable…how can a presumabely educated person not know the difference between right or wrong, black or white, the peoples will, or have we (the voters) all been so apothetic and forgiving over the years that the modern day politician has one agenda and one agenda only, to serve themselves without recourse? Do we not deserve an answer, a straight answer! This lady along with many or her collegues can not answer a simple question without rambling on with gibberish. What is an answer? “Something spoken or written in reply to a question”, “a correct response”. Try to get one! How do we tolerate a person that speaks in riddles, yet alone promote them to a powerful position in our government? Our fore-fathers got one thing wrong when they drafted the “greatest constitution written by mankind”, they did not give the citizens a way to extricate the officers once they were elected before their terms were up. Also, there must be a way for the general US populace to extricate an official from a particular state who keeps electing these freaks!

NOW it is time for each of us “mad as hell” AMERICANS to be absolutely sure we gain the most conservative, tea party, republican or even democrat (bluer the better) through the primary process and the best true American man/woman elected to the Congress; both House and Senate.. in the fall 2010

My vision is circa 1950, with smaller houses, one old car, too many kids, one wife (maybe), and an innocence that is long gone…
Nancy no longer surprises me in what she says. She continues to push the Obama Agenda for this health care “reform” which the country overwhelmingly does not want. It must be comforting for her to know that if it becomes law, at least it won’t affect her! Let’s vote all these big spenders of OUR money out of office and begin the process of turning this country away from increasing this dependent entitlement-based society and back to the principles upon which it was founded: limited government and a balanced budget!
