1 in 10 Canadian Leaders Says YES to American Medicine
The Premier of the Canadian province of Newfoundland will be hop-scotching across the border soon. Why you ask? Well, to access the best medical system in the world – the USA.
As reported by national Canadian media, Premier Danny Williams will undergo heart surgery later this week in the United States.
The Premier decided to forgo his country’s own government-run health care system after he and his doctors thought he would be better treated in the US. One comment out of the Premier’s camp said the procedure wasn’t even offered in Canada…. A fact, if true, that doesn’t surprise PPF.org after our education in government-run waiting lists, delays and denials.
As you can image this story has raised eyebrows across Canada as one of their highest office holders apparently is shunning the much celebrated Canadian health care system.
While PPF.org and the rest of America sits around wondering exactly where the Democrats go next in their bungled attempt at reform, we at least can enjoy a laugh and relish the irony that 1 in 10 Provincial leaders in Canada chooses America’s health care system over their own.
All we can say is: “Welcome to America sir, we’re happy to have you.”

Why not turn your healthcare over to Free Enterprise? That way you can allow the medical community in Canada to be as innovative as the U.S. medical system is. That is until our bonehead of a President and his comrades socialize our medicine.
If you de-control your healthcare maybe then socialized Americans can go to Canada for their Health.
Premier Williams, welcome to America’s health care system. I know you have made a wise decision and hope you carry back good vibrations to Canada.
I SCUBA dive with Hubert Chretien, the eldest son, of an earlier Canadian Premier.
Should your future medical care needs bring you to the Dallas, Texas area, please let me know and I will be happy to invite you and your family out for the best Mexican food in the world!
I do hope your health is rapidly restored and you may return to your duties very shortly.

Welcome to America, it’s health care, and good luck.
AS A REGISTERED NURSE OF MANY YEARS WITH MANY YEARS IN SURGERY I KNOW THAT THE BEST HEALTH CARE IS IN THIS COUNTRY.
HAVE WORKED WITH RN’S FROM CANADA & ENGLAND AND THEY HAVE COME TO THIS COUNTRY AS MEDICINE IN THE ABOVE COUNTRIES ARE NOT STISFACTORY.
Why are we welcoming him to this country and our superior care? He should have to avail himself of his own country’s care (think…our legislators not wanting to participate in the plan they are proposing for us), or get off his elitest behind and proceed to promote the necessary changes in his country to provide superior care to his citizens. Outrageous!
