The State of Our Union
With the President poised to deliver his first State of the Union before a nation battered by massive job losses, months of political wrangling over health reform and a future that doesn’t seem as certain as it once was, it seems that the toll is setting in.
Case-in-point: A CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll release yesterday found that only three in ten Americans say they want Congress to pass legislation similar to the health care reform bills that have already been approved by the House and Senate. The survey also indicated that nearly half the public, 48 percent, would like federal lawmakers to start work on an entirely new bill, and 21 percent feel Congress should stop working an any bills that would change the country’s health care system.
We have had enough Washington Democrats and hope that the President can show us this evening that he is listening.
1. Get rid of NAFTA, and all other harmful things that have sent all our manufacturing jobs (and the office jobs that were available in the manufacturing plants) overseas. Put LARGE tarriffs on anything being shipped in. This will bring more manufacturing jobs back to the US.
2. QUIT SPENDING MONEY - NO BAIL-OUTS - NO FREE RIDES - PEOPLE MUST PAY THEIR OWN WAY - OR DO WITHOUT!
I would like to hear that he is resigning, quitting, going back to wherever he’s from.
I hope the president says that he’s changed his opinion of the Constitution….. I hope he says that he now feels that its our beloved document instead of “a flawed document”. Then I hope he renews his oath to honor, protect and defend our Constitution.
I hope he says that he hears Us, the People. He also has to tell me that he believes that charging our future to our grandchilden is a crime…. that we need to leave to our children, a better country than was left to us. He needs to hear us in that we believe we’re headed down a path to rapid destruction.

This guy doesn’t know what he is doing. His agenda is NO PLAN. He doesn’t give a dam what WE THE PEOPLE have to say. His most consistent program is to REVERSE each day whatever he proposed the previous day. H e is an egomaniacal, narcissistic dud. And he doesn’t have the courage to admit it. The best thing he could do for this country is to take pelosi,reed, durbin, dodd ,biden and all his other progressive idiots to a place where they are unable to continue commiting to the demise of our nation over the next three years. We expect to hear more and more lies, re how he is going to solve
the problems he “inherited” from President Bush. In my opinion,
President Bush was 1000 percent a better president than this guy
will ever be. He is a disgrace to this great country. I am persuaded
to think he is out to destroy the American way of life. Thanks for

I wish he would restrict the use of the word ” I” and “me”. I also wish, if he starts lying again, the Republicans would all stand and turn their backs in silence. I doubt if the message would penetrate.
I hope he will do what is right for this country and resign.
Personally he and his admin. owe the American people ESP. the conservatives,tea party movement and others an apology. (We won’t hear it). He also has to stop campaigning and lead. He talks the talk, but can’t walk the walk. He had 8 years while the dumbs blamed everything imaginable on Pres. Bush, yet he did nothing, came up with no solutions, and he stills blames Bush. He has to come down off his high horse and understand that America is the finest country in the world. He makes fun of people who drive trucks, yet, without them, where would we be. He is a sham and his “legacy” will be a stain on our great country.
unless Obamadroid announces his resignation…there is little else I would welcome…whatever he says other than “he is resigning”…will just be more rhetoric piled on top of bonafide lies…..he is an evil soul….
That he can take the blame for anything would be an amazing change, and that he will uphold and defend the Constitution and not run from it. That he will admit that he (and Congress) need to get out of the way, stop regulating and let business run. It is the only way we are going to get back to any reasonable economy.
This whole exercise is about CONTROL folks! The ONE and his socialist friends want to control me and you and you and you. Their attitude? To hell with the Constitution. And the CONTROL is all about MONEY! If anyone owes anyone enough, that anyone owns the other anyone. In 1832 Rothschild said, “Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who makes the laws.” The Fed, a private corporation partly owned by foreigners, issues and controls our money supply. WE, the people, owe trillions and trillions of $’s.
Tonight, the ONE will tell us about more control of schools where kids can be indoctrinated. The ONE will tell us about debt, most of which the ONE and his lackeys have created. Face it folks, the ONE isn’t interested in us, the people, except in the sense that we should serve him and his interests. The ONE wants to disarm us, socialize us, equalize and indexed us in misery and silence and eliminate voices of dissent. The ONE is the enemy. I refuse to listen to his blathering.
The State of Our Union? hum, with each administration of either party there has been a continuous decay of our beloved Country. Too much power play and personal agendas coninue to precipitare not only our Economy but our Morals and Ideals. We need to speak up by voting out career politicians in the first place! God, Country, Family and Honor is a thing of the past except for some of us out here struggling and fighting for survival. No matter who is President, voted in Senate or Congress we continue to get and accept lip movement of promises immediately forgotten after election. No laws should be passesd at the expense of the People of the United States! The People should always come first beginning with appreciating and taking care of our Soldiers, Veterans and their Families. Our Elderly and Disabled contributed much to making America what it used to be known in the world. Toady everyone hates us, take from us and dump us when we cannot pay, give and be taxed.
I expect nothing good until there is an immediate showing of Patriotism and Fairness on the part of Legislators and the President.
Obama needs to realize that being the president of the U.S is not

Hanging his hat with Pelosi proved what side he was on. Healthcare for the illegals brought down California. Wasn’t this supposed to be paid by the offset of oil subsidies? If one remembers, his plan on his website (before) elections was only an outline. I tried to find out exactly what his plan was then and it was never posted. Ytube has this healthcare bill on its site and is very descriptive–includes the pdf for the text. And what about those “Cadillac” programs? So what. Those fortunate enough to have that coverage deserve it. Try working in 120 degree heat for 12 hrs a day and 7 days a week. If it were not for the long term benefits, why would one work under those conditions (I didn’t work there but think they deserve reward for the price they paid)
No matter what he says, do we think we can believe him???
Why did it take the “super intellect” a year to hear and see the needs of citizens for honest work from prtivate industry? How does he overcome the many times he has reneged on what he said?

If only the people that thought they HAD elected THE ONE, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in now. Obama came out of Oprah’s show as one of her frequent visitors. He did speak with a smooth and upbeat manner about what should be changed. the problem is, he didn’t really tell the whole story and let everyone know what “change” meant. It is kind of like Clinton’e comment during his impeachment trial - “It all depends on what ‘is’ IS.” We didn’t know anything about what change was until he was elected.
The whole answer to his campaign can be found not in what he said but looking carefull into where he came from and whose company he kept. “If only” are some of the most regretful comments to be found.

Dare I hope for a resignation? How about a promise to go back to Chicago and quit politics? (I have friends in Chicago. I don’t want them hurt.) I’d be very happy with an admission that he doesn’t know what the hell he is doing. How about admitting that he never became a citizen and so he can’t hold the office anymore? He should acknowledge what every one in the country not residing in downtown Big City knows, that his Year One has been at best a disappointment and at worse a bust. He needs to ‘fess up or his last three years will be less than the mediocre he is so leery of. It appears however - based on his own words - that he is satisfied to be a one-term president (small “p” on purpose) - because clearly, being on the Government payroll the rest of his life is the perfect solution for a dedicated and committed Socialist/Commie.
It is the same old same! More lies, and blaming the Bush administration for all his troubles. He will now start pointing his finger at his own party. We patriotic Americans know it’s his fascist approach to “change will can believe in.” I don’t trust him and I won’t believe anything he will say tonight. His first year of failures… wasting he time on government control health care while job loses went from 8% to 10+%. His main objective is to become another Hugo Chavez.
No more LIES and deception! We the People will no longer tolerate Obama’s brand of transparancy. Bring our country back to Constitutional law and absolutes rather than progressive “change” that tears at our core values and subverts our rights through back-door policies.
Millions will be watching the sorry state of our union tonight and we will listen to every word spoken. We are much more aware and alert than last year. This administration can count on the power that We the People possess and will express said power this coming November should Obama and ilk return to socialism.

As far as I am concerned, Obama is a pathological liar and he doesn’t know how to tell the truth because the truth is not in him–that goes for ALL of his Chicago and unions/big business pals too! I would like to hear obama say that he is moving to Haiti to become President there. After all, those people could really benefit from redistribution of wealth - and since it seems the only wealthy people in Haiti are politicians, how perfect for THEM to have to pay. And they could really use universal health care there.

i’m not watching the state of lies address. can’t stand the lying clown I might watch the rebuttal address from the va. gov He is trying to destroy the seniors that built this great country first by NO cost of living adjustment ,now freezing it for three years.Its tough to just get by now ,what’s next for seniors?
