Merry Christmas?
The Senate presented their “Christmas present” to the American public today. While the Senate bill didn’t include the so-called public plan, it is hardly restrained. The government is coming to American medicine and the only question is how much, at what cost and what will be the consequences?
As you know, the House and Senate bills will have to be married before a final reform package is sent to the White House. So we’re not done yet.

Jim Webb’s office had the audacity to tell me on Christmas EVE moring that “we had to vote yes to save money”. This is a tax bill, a fat cats enlarge the government bill NOT a health care reform bill. It is not structured to save money - in fact it specifically states that if states cap lawyer fees they will be ineligible for federal negotiation/mediation monies. Both Virginia Senators are not listening and have sid that they do not have to listen -despite a republican Govenor voted in. Unfortunately - There is a lot of corruption due to ACORN in the voting process. Is there no integrity left in this nation ?
Wow! Talk about a lump of coal. Actually coal may not be environmentally acceptable to them. Bottom line, thank you for ramming this down America’s throat, despite what we want and what you are elected to do. How about giving us something we do want and could benefit from; getting out of our lives, letting us keep our money, and passing term limits!
I think we should give the House and the Senate a Christmas Present and make it the same as our own New Years Resolution: Vote every last one of them out of office and give them a start on their new career what ever that may be as long as it is not working for or in the Government, federal, state, local or even dog catcher. I believe they think of themselves as titled nobility, the new Aristocracy and want to lord it over us as kings, queens, counts and countesses. Time to send them all home before they send all of us to the poor house and our country to the trash heap of History.

I just don’t understand why Washington does not listen to the people!
I”s like we out here do not exist. I have notified my Senators, They do not hear me. I think Washington is pushing this through, because they can. They have no interest is what we think. It is their way or no way. Then its, “LOOK WHAT WE DID FOR AMERICA” thank us and by the way bow down to us!
I’ve been reading things on the internet that say all these jerks that are approving this bill are not worried about being re-elected because this admistration will make each of them a czar or some other high government position and then they’ll have more power than they think they have now. It scares me to not have any way of truely getting rid of them except the way Chapaquidic Kennedy went. I hate thinking that way but there seems to be no other way.

Let me get this clear, When the health care bill is passed, it will not yield any benefits until 2014 and I will be paying a premium for that. Well it seems to me I will still need to carry my present insurance I have now, so that I will have insurance that I don’t get until 2014. So if you can get fined for not having insurance, but you have to keep you present insurance to have coverage how is that faired or more importantly make sense!
If our leaders thinks this is such a wonderful plan. Prove it by all of them follow the laws and wated monies they will spend and put our country in more danger than we already have. You people keep giving yourselves and government employees raises. You have taken our Social Security, Medicare and anything else that will make America a Socialist country and have done nothing for our children, grandchildren and future lives except make us poor paying your taxes and not giving a damn. I love my country and members of my family fought in wars as many othere families member did, and I do not need some politiician telling me every move to make. Ditch this health bill and listen to the people you work for.
Both of my Senators and my Representative are all Republicans, but do not listen to my concerns either. One of my Senators, Senator Shelby, is on the finance committee responsible for developing the omnibus bills with its thousands of ridiculous earmarks. He is not looking after the people of this nation and should be kicked out of office. I have voiced my concerns to my other elected representatives and if I get an answer at all it is just a standard
form letter that is sent to all. I am sick of the elected officials that simply vote to pass the bills without reading them. This is the most corrupt congress that I have ever seen. This combined with the corruption in our White House is going to send our nation into bankruptcy. We will be lucky to have a nation like many of the African nations ttoday. All I’ve got to say is buy plenty of ammunition!
Our Dr. just told me he will no longer be taking medicare advantage health
plans if this bill passes. we are in for the same care that our gov. gives to the American Indians on resverations.
check how your reps vote on the hill and be sure you vote for only reps that listen to their voters. any rep that voted for this bill and others like it need to be voted out.. We are in California and our reps like Boxer, Feinstein,Polesi need to go. their voting record are F’s

You see what happens when ONE piece of garbage is allowed to be elected to the highest postion in our country. Why didn’t more pay attention to what he said. Transformation????? to what and why. We were doing just fine before this cancer came into our lives.

STOP THIS BILL. How can our leader’s push through a bill that the majority of the American people do not want. It is too costly, scary (having the government taking over how we take care of ourselves). Why did there need to be special deals made (behind closed doors) to get this passed? Why did it needed to be shoved through in the dead of night in the busiest season of the year? Why is it that no one can tell us what exactly is in the bill? The answer is because it is not a good bill and the majority of the American people do not want it.
what we have is a lot of bought off senators. healthcare bill is unconstitutional too. i looking for lawyers ans peaaple or even a web site to help talte Obamacatre to to courtts all the way to our supreme court if nesary!
As a physician in private practice, I am amazed at the ignorance in this bill. No doctor fix in the bill. We are looking at a 21% cut in medicare/medicaid payments early in 2010. This is below the already low rates. Can’t afford to see those patients anymore and will have to drop medicaid/medicare as will the few other physicians that still see them. With the expansion of medicaid in the Senate bill, who will see those patients? Take a number and get in line folks. It will be a long, long wait.
I also don’t understand why the rest of the US has to pay the medicaid costs for Nebraska, LA, MA and NE. Who is representing us anyway. I think all senators and congressmen should wear patches on their coats like NASCAR drivers to so we can see who they really represent.
I am ready for a tax revolt. Anybody else. If we don’t pay them, they can’t spend our money. Any takers?

Michael Bolden’s work is to educate people to the fact that the constitution has given the federal government specific limited functions and everything else is a function of the states and the people. The time for talk is over, the time for the people to act is needed now. He has set up a pledge that he has asked all encumbants and people running for office to sign, agreeing to follow the Constitution of The United States on Every vote. every time. This way we can know who is going to follow our constitution and use it’s wisdom and guidelines to make new laws and to get our country back in the hands of the people, and running properly, with freedom and prosterity for all as origionally intended.
This entire bill, both versions are an abomination. To even remotely think about voting on something so vast that no one seems to know everything in it is criminal. It has been pretty well established in many places on this site and many others that there is nothing Constitutional about these bills. That they have even been introduced is a sign of how far our government has been hijacked. Until Congress is subject to what they are trying to give us…
This revolution needs to get off the ground soon or the nightmare left will destroy our children’s and our grandchildren’s futures.

I wish every state could just pull away from our government. I wish we could govern ourselves. Why do we need them? They are not for us, they are against us.
The bill will destroy the United States Financially. It is unconstitutional.
I don’t know anyone who is supportive of this bill. The congress does not represent the majority of Americans….they have failed in their job, fell on their fat you know whats….who do they represent?
Obama, said during his campaign that he was going to be very Transparent in running the office of president. this health care bill is a good example of his promise. he has kept that promise. I CAN SEE RIGHT THRU HIM.

Not too many years ago all we had was hospital ins. We should go back to that.
Free health care will accomodate all the nutcases and hypochrondiacs and that’s about it.
I think this is really about gaining control over us. We are no longer freedom loving people.
We need to support the Congressional Reform Act of 2010: Term limits: 12 years only; no tenure/no pension; Congress ( past, present & future participates in Social Security with all Congressional retirement funding moving to the Social Security System immediately; Congress can purchase their own retirement plan just as all Americans; Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise; Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people; Congress must equally abide in all laws they impose on American citizens; All contracts with past and present congressmen are void effective upon passage of this bill. Candidates who support Congressional Reform and are willing to sponsor such a bill will have the honor of SERVING the American people. It is time to take America back….
Congress seems to think that they are the parents, who know what’s good for us better than we do. They are ramming this healthcare down our throats ” for our good” as my wonderful NJ senators wrote to me after my e-mails. They either think that people don’t care ( like NY senator Schummer stated not long ago), or that they are stupid. They are definitely out of touch with their constituency. Since they have unlimited terms in Congress, they must think we are “working” for them not the other way around. That’s why, come 2010 and then in 2012, we have to show them at the polls. Congress should be voted out. They do not represent the people anymore. Most of all, we should all stay engaged at all times and not become complacent.

Both bills tie our hands and move the USA toward a socialist state. Our representative should have voted NO! I was born and raised in Nebraska and I am now totally embarassed to be from the state considering what Nelson has done. We need to stand united to stop this take over of our Country.
