Canadians crossing border, escaping government-run health care
Fox and Friends interview with Rick Baker. Baker is the founder of Timely Medical Alternatives, a company that helps Canadians “leave the queue” and come to the US for treatment. Mr. Baker gives examples of a 2 year wait for a gynecological consultation and that cancer is considered as elective medical care
I believe that health care in this country is the best in the world. Why change it? Not only will it bankrupt the United States, it is an age discrimination.
We have a right to our own health care, and not be fined or taxed if we do not have a government policy. It is UNAMERICAN to promote such a bill. It is unheard of that Congress passes bills and does not even read them.
When people in general are trying to pull something over on you’, they try and do it before you have too much time to think.
We are being husled. I hope the American people can start to wake up and see what really is going on.

Think about it. The last few years we have been being told that the biggest transfer of wealth is going to happen over the next 10 to 20 years or more. Meaning the parents of the boomers are dying and so are the boomers. The politicians just want to get their share of the wealth as well as the ability to transfer it to those the pols want to receive it not to who those who have accumulated it want to receive it.
The Canadian universal health care system is universally killing people or leaving them in pain and acquire more problems while waiting. I had to go to the US to get a diagnosis.. The Canadian system only serves the bureaucracy and and old unworkable ideology. while the US system works for the benefit of the patient.. Canada is short of family doctors for 6 million people.. There is no choice in finding a doctor. One feel like a beggar and left hopeless The US testing system is more advanced.
The unions and lobby groups want to keep the status quo without competition..
Do not listen to NDP leader Jack Layton.. He spreads falsehoods.
There is also very little recognition that with 1011 pages in the bill, that there is an open door for everything from administrative misinterpretation, to supreme court justices creating legislation from the bench, and will create a national I.D., under the radar of the opponents of the PASS act.
This bill is a Trojan horse of a magnitude this country has never before seen!
The U.S. Constitution, with its’ text of just over a thousand WORDS has been twisted and distorted over the years, consider the possibilities of the damage of a 1011 page document!
This is 100% true. My sister in law had to go to Florida because the Province of Saskatchewan refused her a breast biopsy for a lump. They told her it was probably NOTHING? She wasn’t will to risk it. She had nowhere to go but the U.S. This is comkng folks unless we get on the telephone and start calling our friends, congressmenn and family to get them to oppose any legislation that will put the Government in charge of health care. We need to be able to have access to the treatments our doctor’s want us to have not the Government.
